Johnny Hardwick gave 1000% to this role. There was never a scene where this character wasn’t so full of life you couldn’t believe he wasn’t a real person. I’ve never seen someone give so much passion to a character for over 20 years without losing the ability to deliver the best performance that makes the character great, or sacrifices any part of the character’s best qualities.
