It's a small thing, but I've always liked how Sheila backed off once Dale made it clear how serious he was. It would have been easy to make her a female John Redcorn, but she actually seems like a fairly decent person at the end of the day.

He's a better father than John Redcorn. That guy waited until Joseph was in his teens to try and get him to acknowledge him or see him as a father figure, then Nancy cheats on him has an affair baby and tell Dale that Joseph iis his. Those two are trash and then when the spotlight is on them or they are put in the same situation they both play victim. Sickening.
