I got the same planer from Lowes, it's great for the price. The only annoying thing I've noticed is that when I attached the dust chute, the wood chips starts shooting out from the front too. Apart from that, it's a great quality planer for the price. Especially for weekend woodworkers. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Good looking tool. I use a dust deputy with my shop vac that works great with a planer. Sawdust makes good compost if you blast it around your garden. Happy planing.

Just pull mine out of the box and sat it up on the stainless steel table i put together....Wow this planer
is heavier then it looks ...(heavy is good)

Great video once again. I have been using planers for a lot of years (50+) so I will offer this,
Two Rules of Safety and one suggestion
1; ALWAYS use hearing and eye protection with a planer.
2; Set up a dust collection of some type. Either a catch basin or a vacuum system.
Suggestion; never remove more than 1/32 inch material in a single pass.
This will allow the blade to last longer and is less stress on the machine.
