Fire Starter - A no mess way to make cotton balls and petroleum jelly for guaranteed fire starter

An excellent survival firestarter is cotton balls infused with petroleum jelly. The firestarter is easy to make and cheap!
But infusing the two materials can be a messy job. Here is a quick, easy way to make a lot of firestarter.

In the olden days they called vaseline rod wax. The roughneck discovered the medicinal quality on burns

Another way: turn a plastic ziplock bag inside out, use that like a mitten to scoop vasoline.
Then turn bag right side out, add cotton balls, and mix inside the zipped bag.
