What style mistake would you add to the list?

The deep v neck t-shirt is fine as an UNDERGARMENT. It keeps your shirt nice and neat, free of sweat in the summer months and it won’t show around the neckline if you’re not wearing a tie.

Sound advice Antonio. The sooner men start dressing somewhat more classic the sooner they'll find out that it comes with more respect. Men today in general dress way too young for their age.

I always wear funky patterned sock with everything except a suit the amount of times it’s been a conversation starter is amazing & breaks the ice

I think wearing fun coloured/patterned socks can add a lot to your outfit. Of course you got to colour match it, but they are often a great conversation starter. I love art-inspired socks, for instance I wore a khaki summer suit with a white button up and cognac shoes/belt to my sister’s wedding, together with a very light/blue greenish pair of socks with a sunflower pattern inspired by Van Gogh.

Or, when I need to wear a jacket (black) and tie (red with white pattern) to my student rowing club I have socks matching with the tie pattern which I wear with the traditional preppy combination of beige chinos.

Antonio, yours is the best channel by far! Also the way you prsent it is very professional. I have benefitted hugely from it. My lost self confidence has been hugely restored by applying and regularly following the material covered. Well done my friend!

I like matching my socks to my shirt. I find that it brings the whole outfit together.

As for #10 and sock colors, I personally try to match my Socks to my shirt color. I have a light brown pair of Chukka's that I even sometimes swap in the colored laces to match my socks and shirt. Did this recently with a yellow button-down shirt, yellow socks, and yellow laces paired with dark jeans and had multiple comments about brightening up the room and once they noticed the socks and laces also matching they realized more thought went into brightening the room than just a shirt.

The only time I ever do black pants with a blue blazer is for more "casual" outings with friends. The blue is a deep navy blue that honestly even in the day you can barely tell its blue.

Good advice. I wish I saw videos like this (and other RMRS) 25+ years ago.

Your videos should be obligatory in schools. I know that this would have an opposite effect, but I think more young men should wach such advice. I am quite new to the channel and im just digging through the content, love your perfume series. I hope to find videos on how to take care of clothes. How to clean a suit at home without taking it to the drycleaner, how to irin a shirt so it doesnt get shiny and what order. Collar first or sleaves. A lot of people dont know this and need such info.

Speaking about socks, who created the trend to hem the trousers ankle height, showing sock's fabric when standing?

Antonio - you've helped me a lot with upgrading my wardrobe and style. Thank you. Now...please allow me to help you. I'm a retired fitness professional who's dedicated his life to fitness. Antonio...PLEASE stop the 5 mile jogs. As you get older, the risks of "slogging" (slow jogging) far outweigh the rewards. If you're going to run, do all-out 20 second sprints, and hard hills. Weights, sprints, and hills. Your joints will thank me in 20 years.

The weather is nice, lads. Time to break out those jean shorts.

Banana Republic really struggles with the logo issue. I used to have some really comfortable BR cotton polos, but they had an elephant logo that looked like a bird dropping from a few feet away. Now they use an oversized BR monogram that looks equally awful.

I like to go with blazers that don't match the pants but they both complement each other for when I'm going for casual bur stylish looks. and I do a suit for more formal or business occasions

One caveat to the over knee shorts. I longboard(the skateboard kind), and whole yes I do wear protective gear, have just that little be of extra length means the difference between road rash and a fun time.

Antonio,
What are your thoughts /advice on wearing knee high socks with shorts? I ask because I need to wear compression stockings but occasionally like to wear shorts. I always feel a little self conscious about wearing the combo.

I feel validated on my thoughts about the half tuck! it just seems kind of silly. something of a trend, I guess. definitely not a classic or timeless look.
