In the graveyard in Goblet of Fire, when Voldemort's physical body was resurrected, he summoned his "loyal" Death Eaters to berate them, and to show off for them. He made Wormtail a replacement hand, and then he noticed Harry bound to the Angel of Death statue guarding his father's crypt, and he said in a voice loud enough for his followers to hear, "Harry! I almost didn't see you there, standing on the bones of my *filthy muggle father!* ..."

I'd have to call that a tacit admission.

Being a descendent of Salazar Slytherin would of erased any cares of his followers

The Lestange that Voldemort went to school with was most likely Rudolphus and Rabastan's father.

Severus Snape was a halfblood and he was one of Voldemort's best followers

The Death Eaters don't really care if someone was half-blood or not as long as they were loyal to the cause or were powerful enough to be followed. Like Snape wasn't pure blood either, yet he was a friends with Lucius and was a high ranking member of the Death Eaters. Not to mention, some of the Death Eaters like like Lucius, were ready to follow Harry if he turned out to be a dark wizard, despite being half blood, because they thought Harry was going to be incredibly powerful since they assumed it was baby Harry that somehow killed Voldermort. At best, I think being Pure Blood is just an additional badge of honor for them, and something that use to look down on muggle born and half bloods that don't choose to join their club

This is like how Hitler wanted the aryan race but had brown hair and eyes.

I always got the feeling that half bloods were allowed so long as they proved their loyalty, and made sure to cut off any ties to their less than pure relatives. Although I could see them as being viewed as "second class" citizens I doubt anyone would try to pull that card on the Dark Lord himself.

I don’t think Voldy himself had much hate for half-bloods. He hated muggles because he felt they oppressed wizards by forcing them to hide in these hidden little areas of the world and conceal their magic.

He would hate a wizard who slept with a muggle (how could you do such a dirty, disgusting thing?) but much less so the resulting half-blood.

This reminds me yet again of a question that has bothered me for quite a while: Why did people like Dumbledore continue to shield Voldemort's true identity even after his first downfall? I assume several members of the Order of the Phoenix -- and probably several people in the Ministry -- knew about Voldemort's birth name. Why was this kept from the rest of the wizarding community? Obviously, if Voldemort=Riddle had become public knowledge, the plot of the Chamber of Secrets would have fallen flat: Ginny would have simply turned the diary over to Dumbledore immediately upon realizing that its creator was called Riddle (as she'd have known that it was actually Voldemort's (on the other hand, if Malfoy had known that Riddle's connection with Voldemort is common knowledge, he might never have planted the diary on her in the 1st place).
But what is the in-universe explanation? Why did people like Dumbledore, who opposed Voldemort *and* knew his true origins, decide to keep it a secret? Why not splash his birth name on the front pages of the Daily Prophet for all to see and know? I genuinely don't understand, and would appreciate an explanation/theory.

Not sure if I'm right but didn't voldermort say in the graveyard scene something along the lines of 'my Muggle fathers bones' in front of a group of death eaters... i think they all just fear that much that they won't bring it up.

I feel like acknowledging how even the bloodline of Salazar Slytherin ended up “besmirched” could be used by Voldermort to further demonstrate the need for action against interbreeding. And I agree that having murdered his father, it’s a way of saying that he restored the purity of the line somehow.

Crouch junior knew, because he compares himself to Voldemort by saying something like they both have annoying fathers and had the pleasure to kill them

it could've been that he was still a descendant of salazar along with his puritive views that they didnt care too much to challenge

I don't think they cared because he furthered their agenda/proposed an agenda that they connected with. You see this in politics all the time.

At 5:10 The narrator is very incorrect. In the Order Of the Phoenix, Harry Potter doesn't ever say Tom Riddle. He said Voldemort when asking Bellatrix what they wanted with the Prophecy. Then When she called him a filthy half-blood, Harry told them that Voldemort was also a half-blood. He told them his father was a muggle.
Harry Potter only referred to Voldemort as Tom Riddle in The Deathly Hallows.

I think his followers were either scared to say something or were too wraped up to even acknowledge it
