Just a few suggestions on the setup. Get a cheap carpet or runner for in front of the resin printers. If you spill just toss the carpet away. Also, maybe a rolling cart that has all the stuff you need for removing prints from the resin printers (Gloves, snips, scrapers and a light.) as well as being a way to move the prints to your cleaning area that won't drip resin across your floor.

Fabulous. That's the word for your whole space. Love it!

Great to see more print farms popping up! What are you planning to print with all your FDM machines?

My suggestion is 18inch concrete pavers from lowes or homedepot. The mass really helps to reduce noise and vibration going through the shelf racks. maybe $2-3 per machine. If you are using them on wood shelves though it will slightly bow the wood over time. If you keep using the steel shelves the pavers will work like a charm.

The cardboard fitting so exact was satisfying! Excited to see what foam/board combo you come up with!

Such an incredible space; I can't wait to see the videos that come out of this place!

love those industrial shelves!!!
nice space! One thing I might recommend is wheels under each bench, it makes rearranging so much easier!

I'm interested in the ventilation and exhaust system for the resin printers. do you ever use a respirator or have concerns on your health using resin printers like this?

I love the silicone mats I bought to put under my resin printer. I bought a big flat one that makes cleanup of drips easy. I also bought a smaller "dog dish mat" that has a lip to stop bigger spills.

Hear ye hear ye, I have a cautionary tale (which I'm posting here because he gets a lot of traffic that comes through).

I recently had got my hands on the Elegoo Jupiter. I set it up, run the validation matrix through Chitubox Pro and get my settings dialed in and then off to printing my first actual print, which is a 3D file of my own creation. The file was created in Nomad and properly run through 3D builder, then Chitubox Pro. All is good so far. I run the file over night, and in the morning come to 3 out of 4 pieces having failed.

I run a single file after, almost didn't fail but still failed.

Run all 3 failed parts again...another fail, only this time there was an additional fatality, brand new fep on the brand new machine ends up with a hole.

This is where both my dumba**ery and resourcefulness come together. So I have 3 month old baby, which means I don't sleep much, which leads to sleep deprivation, which leads to a lapse in attention and decision making.

I saw the leaked resin on my LCD screen and didn't realize that Elegoo has this nifty tank clean future so I went the traditional cleaning route. I grabbed a bottle which I thought was rubbing alcohol, and some paper towels and it's time to clean that LCD screen (btw, like a dumba** I removed the LCD protective film....starting to see the big picture here huh? I promise, I'm actually not usually this stupid, but of course my actions say otherwise). So, now I pour the supposedly rubbing alcohol onto the paper towel and start cleaning, but start realizing I'm leaving behind a smeary, scratchy I come to realize some stuff at this moment.
1. The liquid I thought was rubbing alcohol wasn't...it was PAINT THINNER!!
2. The streaky, scratchy mess, isn't going anywhere...no..it's actually scratched into the LCD pane, because
3... the LCD pane isn't actual glass, it's an acrylic pane.

So what do we do now? First off, panic!! 😂😂 Because you might just have ruined your $1300 machine. Second, gather your thoughts and think...

18 years ago I worked at a paint and body shop where I learned a lot about treating scratches in fresh clear coat which is much softer and easier to damage than acrylic Plexi glass. I knew which rubbing compounds and car wax to use for which kind of scratches. I quickly search my garage for the one random can of left over 8+ year old car wax that I have (and I mean this crap is ancient, as in cracked to hell), pop it open and apply about a dime sized amount of wax to a soft terry cloth. Now I'm rubbing (yeah I know, I've been rubbing a lot 😩) little circles over the worst areas and as fast as possible. Wiping it down, spraying it with automotive glass cleaner, and going back to the car wax....it's rinse and repeat for an entire hour ...but wouldn't u know it, all my hard work paid off...the pane no longer has any major scratches, I'm replacing the old fep today, and ordered a clear film protector to place back over the LCD screen.

I hope, that either Uncle Jessy does a video on this, or somebody some day finds this, and it saves the from first even using a harsh thinner on their LCD, but if they do, they learn the way to fix it using my method above.

Love this guys positive attitude when he does things, the best way to solve problems is with an open mind. Good luck Jessie I’m working on a little project of mine as well.

This is looking great! We use 1/8in plywood as a base and then some foam gym matts (From HF)

For my racks, we have printed brackets for holding spools and use Prusa spool holders, 1 per 2 printers and it works AMAZINGLY well. It lets you get the shelves closer to each other. I used to use a rack for filament storage but converted to carts from Ikea (Vesken) and eventually will DIY one that holds them better. I found that the depth of the rack was not used well with spools or boxes, but roll out carts was AMAZING.

I would normally, personally, not look at the cheaper printers for use in my business, but MAN that Neptune 3 is very much calling my name.. Other than all metal, it seems to have solved most of my gripes with the ender clone printers, and that matters a TON. Looks like they would be great initial farm machines!

I quite enjoy these little studio updates. I'm considering a similar shelving system for my resin printers but feel like the shelves would have to be quite high in order to get the lids on and off easily

Use Unreal Engine 4 to create the space for the recording studio, can then create the models for the shelving units and lighting to get an idea of how it will look before spending a dime on the stuff to make the interior.

Hey Uncle Jesse! Quick question, how are you ventilating all those resin fumes from your resin printers out of that room? I feel like if you have those running or even just with resin in their vats you are smelling that stuff all day ! Not good for your health and future of us watching amazing videos from you ahaha ! Other then that big fan keep doing what you do!

Awesome space! Huge potential!
The filament spools hanging on the printer make them whobble, Maybe have some simple supports with bearings, on the wall behind each printer.
