Fix a Sagging Recessed Light / Downlights / Pot lights 💡

Easily repair that annoyingly sagging or hanging downlight. The spring retaining clips for a recessed or pot light aren’t always made as well as they should be due to bad design or manufacturing. This simple fix works well with double potted lights within a cement ceiling but it can also be adapted to work with drywall ceiling. Recessed lights are also commonly referred to as pot lights or downlights.

I just used what I had on hand - some Dow Corning adhesive sealant - I couldn't see opening a big tube of construction glue for one blob.
And that's literally all it took.
Thank you for this tip- it was driving my OCD self crazy.
