That's actually the first reasonable thing any of these channels ever said. If things work to the performance you're happy with, why throw money at a problem that doesn't exist.

thank you "upgrade when your favorite games stop working" is the absolute perfect guidelines for upgrading and not wasting money(and contributing to eco waste) i pushed my game(and gpu) to the absolute limit of performance before i upgraded, and when i did absolute bliss, i couldn't imagine upgrading and it just feeling the exact same

Yeah, so many people fall into the trap of wanting to buy the best hardware and then it usually ends up being overkill for what they play. A few of my friends have done that

You know you messed up when you upgrade your pc but you can't tell the difference

The best and practical answer I've seen on this topic

If the part you want to replace isn’t working then upgrade, if a new game you were very excited about doesn’t run well or maybe doesn’t run at all then upgrade. If someone on a social media app says “that gpu is so old it can only run modern games on medium or low graphics” then only upgrade if you want to see high or ultra graphics

Works in reverse too. There's some older games that run better on older hardware. Many of them are emulateable or technically working on modern systems with work arounds but a few are still picky.

Bottlenecks are only an indication of what part to upgrade rather than whether or not you should.

I want run Minecraft mod pack called "Create Above and beond", or somthing like that, in at LEAST 250FPS in the end od the game (with overpowered and over size factoris uses a lot of very fast moving belts and cogwills) using optifine instead of sodium (on a max render distance and the best grafic). What components shoot I use?

Most of the time the monitor is the biggest bottleneck

for me, just because i can't run an un-optimised AAA game at high settings, doesn't constitute needing a better system. Haven't had a problem running my AA or indie games of any kind so im fine where i am now.

The perks of running flight simulators, there will always be a significant performance improvement with the upgrade of components. My budget would be limiting factor a performance.

My dream rig would be top line thread ripper, 256-512gb of ram, 10 TB of solid-state storage, and whatever the current top gpu is. In reality I’m running a 2080 TI and a 3070 super, with a 3900x (2080ti) and I believe a 5900x or 5950X (3070). Don’t get me wrong, neither of those are slow builds, but there’s nowhere near as fast as current mid to high tier builds.

Unfortunately, Cyberpunk 2077 is my favorite game to play and I love playing on super realistic graphics so…

Also, Minecraft with rethinking voxels, the physics mod, mods with a lot of explosions, and DH is also another one of my favorites. So unfortunately, NASA PC is my only option

It is extreamly rare to have a 50/50 bottleneck, one part will always be better than the other so you will always have a bottleneck but that's not a bad thing it just means when you upgrade your next part both part will preform better
