In tonight's top story: A mother, her four young children and an adult family friend have been killed in Barrhaven, a suburb about 20 kilometres southwest of downtown Ottawa. Febrio De-Zoysa, 19, has been charged with six counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. Mackenzie Gray reports on the police investigation and has reaction from stunned neighbours.

Many, many years ago I told me brother, then a fire fighter with the Royal Canadian Air Force, that I was going to join the Canadian military. He told me not to do it. He said, go down to the US and join up because the benefits were very much better than those available to Canadian veterans. He was right. After I got out of the USAF, I attended university with the GI bill paying well over 80% of the cost.

I can't even imagine what the father is going through. That 19 year old basically did what is considered in his home country and Trudeau wants to keep bringing them here. Look at international student hot spots like Brampton, Surrey, Vancouver and Ottawa. All are high crime and the majority of sexual assaults, robberies and violent crimes are committed by them.
