the lyrics makes me think of the way society wants young girls to be mature and grow up fast but also wants them to stay young bc society and men infantilize and sexualize them, and it’s such a real and traumatizing thing that so many afab ppl go through and are brought up and taught to exist for others and conform to society to be seen as pleasing to others
