In this very quick video (2 mins!), I show you how to use a tool to update a field in a layer with the AREA (and any other) geometry value.

Just right hand mouse click on an existing field in the attributes window and click Calculate Geometry - easy!

Got this, but I need acres not rounded up because area is small in each polygon… how can I make this show with more decimal places? I found where I can add more decimal places but it doesn’t change the data when I do it and I must be missing something thanks!

i tried this but get the error message 'Input feature class is not registered as versioned'. not sure what is going wrong here :/
