How to twist wire without a wire twister

In this video I show you how to twist wire without a wire twister tool, by using a drill. This technique can be used in many different ways and for many different purposes. Please feel free to give it a go yourself, and I hope you enjoy.

I've twisted copper wire and purchased already twisted silver wire but I'm clueless as to how to finish the ends, say, in making a bracelet. In either case, purchased or twisted it myself, the ends always seem to spray apart. I've tried making jump rings but the ends are never closed properly. Any advice on what to do with the ends would be very much appreciated. (The copper wire I use is thicker than the wire you used in this video) Thanks for your help.

If I wanted to make 20 gauge twist wire, would I use 24x2 or 26x2 to achieve the 20? Or another size?

Hi C. I don't have a drill boo hoo. But I use a pin vise . They come in all sizes. 
It is the same only you twirl the vise till it reaches desired twist. I use the smaller gauge vise so it will hold almost all  gauges of wire. But as soon as I can Im going to get a drill.  Makes for an easier twist.
