Making the picture bigger by attempting to enlarge it simply pixelates it, but raising the resolution makes it bigger and simultaneously reduces the pixelation. Simply genius.

you should do that in multiple layers and combine better parts of each layer to a composite. each layer having different stuff of course like denoise in one and smoothing in one etc. mostly keep areas around eyes, mouth etc but other larger skin areas with more prcessing such as denoise etc

hey quick qustion my friend... I don't have a "bicubic automatic" option in the (image size)
my options are:
automatic
- preserve details (enlargement)
- preserve details 2.0
- bicubic smoother (enlargement)
- bicubic sharper (reduction)
- bicubic (smooth gradients)
- nearest neighbor (hard edges)
- bilinear

but no "Bicubic Automatic"... which one do I choose?

I took a panorama picture of my son while he was hunting on my cell phone. I would like to create a print for him for a Christmas present this year. The problem is the picture is extremely pixelated. I've tried your tutorial but I am not sure I'm doing it correctly. Would you be willing to contact me privately and then walk me through fixing this image? I know it's a strange request... but I would really appreciate some help. Thank you in advance. Jim
