No one does a stalker anomaly mod showcase channel So I think you should keep these kinds of videos for anomaly going it's nice to see someone showcase them and talk about them and not have to take the risk and see if they're worth it or not

Just came back to this video to see if I can scrape up some updated mods and remember some of the ones that I forgot. By the way, that magazine mod is AMAZING. I'm so glad that I had the good luck to see this video. The amount of tension that it adds to the early game where every shot counts because you've only got that one magazine is completely addictive to me. So is the feeling of being a god when you finally loot another magazine or getting one from a trader.

Another bonus to the mags-as-separate-items thing is that it gives the player an incentive to use guns that don't use detachable mags if the player doesn't have enough mags to be effective in a protracted battle. Early on, you might be better off using a plain ol' pump shotgun with a fixed mag tube, a ye olde surplus bolt-action rifle, or a revolver.

The STALKER series exemplifies perfectly why I’m a PC gamer first and foremost. It’s a towering example of the power and potential of modding.

I highly anticipate STALKER 2. Do I think it’s going to be anywhere near what the modding community has achieved with the first games, content wise? Not even close, but as long as it brings the foundation of its engine to modern par and opens the doors to the best modders have to in for one hell of a treat.

I only hope GSC produces an engine that is as good as XRay in flexibility (and is far more stable). The worst thing they can do is make it a script heavy, cinematically focused experience. Hopefully they remember why STALKER is what it is....an emergent playground; a world that doesn’t care about the player and operates independently from them.

Please don’t screw this up GSC, you’ve the potential to make one of the greatest games ever made.

I wish for a mod that added faction unique uniforms, not just colors and badges. It's difficult to tell enemies from allies some times.

I would add Escape from Tarkov Russia Bear Voice mod which lets the player speak while killing, reloading, or just screaming your lungs out on your crew NPC's

Dawn's fixes, like the one that make NPCs more talkative.
That means more jobs, especially useful with more strict economy settings

Audio (install these first):
-Yim's Weapon Tweaks (not just audio though, a whole lot of improvements on how weapons work)
-JSRS Sound Overhaul
~You can also install Soundscape but I don't use it because it changes weather sounds and as I am used to storms in the tropics I like them loud and can't hear shit when a heavy rain happens~
-Gas Mask Volume Reduction
-Alternate Player Pain and Death Noises
-Alternative voice acting for Renegades and UNISG
-Controller sound replace (to save your ears from tinnitus irl)

Visual (install after audio):
-HD Models 1.2.1
~there is also another HD Models addon version but I don't use it cause I really do not like the Monolith and CS in that version~
-Particles Redone (this one's rather taxing on performance tho)
-Open Scopes
-SoC Cursor
-Svarog with NV
-NVR/Night Vision alternatives (don't really remember the correct title but it's the one that makes digital NV fully colorized just like irl)
-Sky Bloom Fix
-No Grass and LODs (VERY IMPORTANT as this completely shrinks grass to a pixel, more FPS)
-High Res PDA maps
-Bart's Minimap
-Blue dead body dots in minimap
-Bloodsuckers camouflage

Other Addons:
-No Good Deed Goes Punished
-Immortal Companions (sometimes I don't use it)
-Remove dropping weapons
-Populated Zone and Additional Tweaks

-Peachs Item Icons (use it only when you're new to Anomaly, because it messes up the Trader Complete icons)

note: for the people who will want to install HD models(like the ones in scape from pripyat) can be really tasking on your cpu especially in high npc areas like rostok and army warehouses

I wish for a mod to add a body in first person like in Dead Air, for STALKER immersion is a must IMO but aparently it doesnt exist outside of DeadAir although i heard there is in russian and Ray of Hope(?), not sure about those but still, just wished Deadair had a bigger addon list like Anomaly

Man, S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 has so much to live up to, mainly because the original games have been overhauled and improved to no end thanks to the community, and the developers will undeniably be facing that comparison point.
