As an Adc main, I found this eye-opening

The very nature of an ADC is basically: "carry me early game that I'll carry you late game"
If the majority of games end on the early game, be it winning or losing, the adc didn't do shit, so it's basically a useless role.

Guide to climb as an adc:
1. Switch role
2. Switch back when in higher elo
3. Lose lp
4. Recognize your just bad at adc
5. Switch back to the role you climbed with
Adc is fun but it's hard to master. If you wanna climb it's probably the worst role anyway.

as adc main i love this patch, mages finally have to hit their spells to oneshot you and the same goes for assassins, they FINALLY AFTER YEARS TAKE SKILL :O
+ most of my games go like 30+ minutes so i am fullbuild every game

Support main here...I tried q'ing ADC on my smurf (D4) and holy shit!

The laning phase is literally 50/50. Games where you should have prio/control over the lane turns into a passive lane while missing a few minions because if i walk up its legit 1v2 and don't fucking sit behind me or sit on the bush doing nothing!

As adc main i swaped to supp its 10x better and funnier to play and if ur ad is stupid u can just leave him and play for other role

As far as lane is concerned, usually it’s supp diff just because supp matchup determines the lane more than ADC matchup. Wanna trade a lot and poke them down for a dive? Sorry they have a healing support. Wanna chill, farm and scale? Sorry they have an engage support and yours is a Yuumi so they zone you off the wave. Want to crash the wave and get a good reset? Sorry the supp went to roam before you could crash even though you asked for help so now the waves frozen after you got a double kill. I’ve mained both supp and ADC, and I gotta tell you it’s so easy to climb with support because most supports are so brain dead that they have as much mental activity as someone in a coma.

ADC is a passive role early which gets most ADC players in trouble. They want to make plays when that isn't the main action of the role. The main action of the role is to farm like a beast, and do dmg to close target without taking a death.

It only takes 2 items to be relevant. But yeah, bot diff is usually sup diff.

The problem with ADC is sharing the xp, if you are 0 0 and enemy top is winning, he's probably 4 level ahead of you.

ADC is basically: early game imapct zero. midgame impact 10%, lategame 30%. While jungle is 20% the whole game

Step 2: Win or Open.

There are:

21 TOP mains
22 JUGLE mains
17 MID mains
20 ADC mains
16 SUP mains

In the top 100 EUW.
I dare say ADC is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. I would say that the roles are fairly balanced.

Not that this is a CLEAR representation of the strength, but it gives a somewhat good idea.
It does not add up to 100 because I did it in like 5 minutes and some people did not have a clear "main" lane (fill players maybe?).

In KR it is:

35 TOP mains
42 JUNGLE main
41 MID mains
39 ADC mains
37 SUP mains

This is top 200 ofc.

Pain. I play both and if I know my support is lacking I aint getting anywhere till late game unless my enemy makes a mistake 🤡

It’s rough, ADC is a good and strong role, but requires your team to know that OR not blatantly disregard you because of ego (or your own ego/don’t type.)
