However, I have come to understand that many affluent individuals are actually frugal, and those who tip generously may not be wealthy but are indeed generous people who appreciated your service.

People who are actually rich; when I worked in the fine dining business, they treated me always so great, don't complain much, they asked you hows your day. Tip you well, and I love it. I had the best experiences. The other group is entitled rude and dont tip you.

My dad was a multimillionaire; walked around in dirty jeans (he worked till the day he died). Someone asked him, "Joe, why don't you dress like a millionaire?" He replied, What for? I am one.

It's funny when people say wealthy people don't wear expensive clothes. Actually they do, it's just plain with no tacky logos & more low key luxury brands. Don't be fooled though, they will have a plain white T-shirt worth $600. That's besides the tailored suits they have worth thousands.

Very true, but I prefer hiker type of attire, or outdoorsy clothes in general😂... I'm probably the last person on Earth that people would look at and say that he has wealth... but the one thing I've learned in my travels and raising my kids is to never let them know you are rich so they can make their own way and not be so snobby😂

My grandfather used to walk around the campus of UCLA and collected aluminum cans out of trash cans and such. Had someone try to offer him something to help him out... he smiled, laughed and replied no need - I'm already a millionaire. This was over 40 years ago. He did it for the exercise and because he believed in recycling before it was the cool thing to do.

I knew a couple that was rich as hell. They would use public transportation and go to the grocery store walking. You would swear they were lower middle class, but the woman had oil rigs in Egypt and the guy was the owner of a huge women cloth store.

My father does deliveries. Most tip are from poor. Of couse they don't give a lot but majority of the time theyre the ones who give.
