Creating wealth entails establishing positive routines, such as consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for sound investments. Financial management is a vital subject that many avoid, often leading to future regrets.

Yes, as a wealth manager, I can attest that most wealthy people are under the radar.

Love this statement of his: The *real* wealthy people I have seen....want no one to know they're wealthy.

Never understood why people get so caught up on impressing people they don't even like.

This is one of the main reasons I stopped using social media.

With the exception of YouTube (I use it for research purposes for my work), I don't use any social media platforms. Facebook, Insta, TikTok, X, etc., all trash. And I feel AMAZING! Life has become so quiet and peaceful since I gave it up.

My wife is the queen of thinking everybody on social media is rich. I try to explain to her these people are full of s*** and likely deeply in debt, but nope! They're all rich and she is living a terrible life. LOL! We live in a 3500sf home, no debt and very good investment accounts.

I look broke, on purpose. Was dating a gal once who had no clue about my finances, after a several months, I told her, and she was shocked, I can still remember her reaction. It didn’t work out in the end with her, but she liked me for me. Now back to being single and looking broke, lol

I've found the more I stay off social media, the happier I am. I still use it for promoting my music & connecting with people. But the scrolling n' stuff, I've mostly stopped

I remember being at a resort a few years back with my wife, enjoying a nice vacation. One day this girl and a photographer were taking tons of pics around the resort, she would go and change in the public restrooms into other outfits and take more pics (just a bunch of trashy glamor shots) and that was it. I was talking with the photographer and this was about a month worth of pics for her influencer account. The resort let her take the pictures for the day for the free publicity, but she wasn't actually staying there.

If you're comparing yourself to the influencers you're seeing on social media, that's your first mistake 😂

no doubt social media is toxic. I'm happy I had a different upbringing. Years ago in Cambridge, I had Indian friends with successful, intelligent parents who taught me about saving. We even played a "Stock market game" in school. Today, I'm debt-free, with a credit score over 800 and can "survive" years without touching any savings. However, my family has a different approach. Despite my efforts to educate them, they struggle with debt and lack financial knowledge. My 12th-grade grandson prioritizes material possessions like an iPhone, airpods and a Dodge Charger and no matter what I teach them, they will not listen for a second. I feel so bad for them as they will have a hard live but I tried many times.

Simple solution: stay off social media. Life real life.

Hiding wealth also keeps you safer in public. That’s always a fear I have for myself.
