Windows 11: How To Enable Virtualization (VT-x) in Bios

Learn how to enable virtualization on Windows 11. You can enable virtualization to give you a performance boost on your PC.
You can do this on the BIOS utility menu from your computer. For this video, we used an Acer PC so it might be different on other computers.

The author' s only BIOS experience apparently is very limited to an ACER but only one with an Intel processor. That same company designs, builds and markets AMD Ryzen processors and different supporting motherboards which have a different BIOS. So different in fact that the BIOS Has a single BIOS feature to change with a different name. Few of you will find help help from this video. You may not even get your Windows 10 or 11 to boot because you must follow the INITIAL steps designated by Microsoft.

For AMD/Ryzen you enable "svm mode"!

Very helpful...worked same in HP laptop with windows 11. However there was slight difference in BIOS option but was self explanatory. 👍

You can also check if the virtualization is enabled from the performance tab in the task manager.

i do all the steps but my laptop opens Lenovo setup utility instead of BIOS setup utility so i dont have the advanced options, what can i do?
