I love the fact that Microsoft went the extra mille to implement the fact that -Skype- -Teams- Chat cannot be removed just with a right click.

Windows 11 seems to be Microsoft's most aggressive attempt to get people on Windows 10 to date.

Why is it everytime Windows tries to simplify something they're indirectly make it more complicated?
It's frustrated with the settings in Windows 10 as it's very complicated to navigate until you find the Windows 7 version that is sort of hidden.

Common misconception about VBS: Memory Integrity (aka HVCI) is a SUB-feature of VBS. Disabling it does not disable VBS, it only disables memory integrity itself. Disabling VBS altogether requires some registry diving. That being said, VBS is a GOOD security feature and I personally highly discourage disabling it. It can block something like 60% of malware techniques.

Microsoft: We have increased the security.
Everyone: Disable VBS.

I'm just looking forward to a way of making my taskbar clock show up on other monitors besides my primary monitor.

Pro tip for W11: Don't.

Seriously, just wait 6 months or a year until it's stable and ready for a migration with much less headaches.

"Gone is the big list of folders and shortcuts"
God dammit Microsoft. Again? Really? Did you not learn a single thing from Windows 8?

Don't forget the important feature of going back to a system restore of whatever you were using before 11.

Don't fix what wasn't broken - said probably no one at Microsoft when developing Windows 11

Honestly I won't be upgrading any time soon just because I can't make Groups and folders in the start menu anymore.
It may seem inconsequential to many but for me it is essential to my workflow

My pro tip would be "don't upgrade, at least not yet"

Biggest pro tip you will see here:
Don't upgrade, wait a year it will save alot of headache.

The center alignment on the icons are really nice for ultrawide users. Saves us from having to mouse 10 miles to click on stuff.

The only thing I find bothersome about W11 as an upgrade is the changes to the start menu and having no respect for how I had it previously setup. I don't want a load of shovelware replacing my carefully grouped applications.

Ah, yes, the old Microsoft mantra: "If it ain't broke, tweak it anyway."

Step 1: go back to windows 10
step 2: take out the botnet
step 3: wait for at least 2 years so people betatest it for you
step 4: decide if its really worth it
step 5: realize win 7 was better
