quadratic formula (the easiest way to prove it)

What's the best way to solve a quadratic equation? Some people might say to complete the square but some might say just use the quadratic formula. We will prove the quadratic formula by completing the square. The usual way to complete the square for ax^2+bx+c=0 is to first divide every term by a so can have 1 as the coefficient of x^2. This is a great proof! I have only ever seen the complete the square proof of the quadratic formula. However, I think that b is missing from the 2AB term in the proof, I believe it should be 2(2ax)(b) :)
