Wow! That was so helpful. My dad passed away, left me his woodworking shop which includes a router on a table with a round-over bit. I've never made a router cut, but I identified the bit in the router and found you! Thank you so, so much. This was so fun. You're incredible in that you came out in 30 degree cold to make this. We're all honored to have such a cool presentation. Blessings, David

PERFECT! Just what I needed. I had a heck of a mess the first time I used a roundover bit as I couldn't quite get it in my head exactly what height I needed. Used up a lot of test boards but finally got it right. Your technique is much faster and more precise!! Thank you very much!!

Excellent tutorial on using the roundover bit. A very brave woodworker to be in the shop at that temperature. Thanks for sharing.

Shane this is an awesome video! It is exactly what I needed to show me how to do it step by step. That is much better than reading it, although I do appreciate all of the comments and different ways everyone does it. The time and effort is just unbelievable! You shouldn’t have went out to your shop when it was so cold! It certainly could have waited. I will definitely do just like you showed me and practice, practice and practice. I will let you know how it goes. I’m sure I will get the hang of it with practice. Again Shane I appreciate you so much for doing this. Be careful and stay warm!!!

I've searched high and low for a good explanation on where to drop or raise the bit in conjunction with the table. I'm a newbie in woodworking. Thanks for your help sir. Great vid!!!

Just what I needed to do to extend the pelmet in the kitchen. Never used a router so bought a palm one with was cheaper. Will practice on scrap wood and see the results. Very good tutorial. From reviews it seems cheaper router bits may be money down the drain but just one essential job to do but nevertheless less my bits will be quality ones and I will learn how to use a palm router. Great video clip for a beginner.

Great vid for beginners (like myself). thanks for actually showing it in action, it really helps a lot versus someone just sitting on a chair and explaining how to do it.

Thank you Shane...Very much enjoyed your presentation using the round over bit. What caught my eye to your channel was your Bosch router table. Just about a week ago I finished up the install of the same table for my table saws RH opening in the Delta 36-725 hybrid contractors saw... Through Home Depot I special ordered the RA-1181 & only used the table & the plate plus the hdwe & the power switch. What an absolute joy using this piece of equip! That extra lip edge you created simply by raising the bit slightly, created that 3 dimensional look that was missing without it. The beauty of this is, is the simplicity of it, very well done sir...

This was so informative to me, I used a router for the first time this week with a round over bit and kept getting a line, the decorative line, and I realize I had not adjusted the height of the bit to sit a little lower, thank you Shane!!

This was extremely helpful. Thank you, Shane, for taking the time to help others. I like your push tool. It would also be helpful to show how to use a fence to do this. I'm an absolute beginner and I'm learning this to use in my pyrography.

First I subscribed, then I watched the process of how to on a roundover bit. Very interesting and informative since this bit I guess has got more of usage than any other bits. Good job and Thank you.

Cheers Shane. Bought a basic router table a month ago to knock up some night tables using left over laminate flooring planks as the paneling and I want to "pretty it up some". Your video clarified some things I was wondering about. I wish it was 30 degrees where I am though. I live in Florida and it's just too hot for most of the year to be working on projects.

I am in my garage putting together a new Bosch router table. I am getting into woodworking more and more. Shane's video is helpful to me. It is 11 degrees outside and I am in my detached garage trying to keep warm. And for the life of me how does anyone live in North Dakota? I have heat but it is strained to keep up. Nice job and would like to see more of Shane"s videos
