I’m so ready for fall too! And I have an old wicker laundry hamper/basket that was my granny’s and it keeps losing pieces off the top but I can’t bear to get rid of it. It will just keep getting shorter and shorter and eventually disappear 😂😂❤️

Refreshing to see someone who is like myself when it comes to decorating. I love seeing houses decorated, and would love to have all the things. But I just can’t. I go “all out” for Christmas and that just means putting up the tree and garland on my staircase. Maybe some pine cones here and there. I feel like a bad homemaker with my lack in decorating when I see all these other YouTube homemakers with pretty decorated houses but… it’s just not me. Plus you have to find a place to store all that stuff. I’m struggling to store my 4 (soon to be 5) kids stuff, why take up space with seasonal decor. I love how simple and realistic your home is (I love Lisa’s house too, but that’s more of a dream than reality for me!), it’s always comforting to see “average” houses that aren’t 100% Pinterest perfect
