1917 definitely deserved a mention. to be honest All Quiet on the Western Front did too. Both are great movies and I'm surprised that neither of these made the honorable mentions. Also Hidden Figures should really be on the list

As a former band member, I am telling you will see instructors like Fletcher a lot. Yes I had one, yes he acted like a complete jerk, but he acted that way because he wanted me and my fellow bandsmen to do our best. It’s not the best experience, but it certainly builds character and shows you which direction you want to go when it comes to your musical pursuits.

Whiplash is so great because of J.K Simmons’s performance. The Batman is just pure cinema. And Endgame is a massive climax of an era.

Given the division between _Star Wars_ under Disney, _Rogue One_ brought many fans together and showed viewers the victory of Light Side-allied forces—the Alliance to Restore the Republic, more commonly called the Rebel Alliance—against the Galactic Empire without the need for Jedi. Had it not been for Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, Bodhi Rook, Baze Malbus, Chirrut Îmwé, and K-2SO, the galaxy far, far away would’ve been much different for its inhabitants. The Battle of Scarif was the highlight of the film at the cost of all six main heroes’ lives.

Solid list overall, I think some misses were
Nightcrawler a great social commentary on news media and in my opinion where Jake Gyllenhal was robbed of a nomination.And The Raid 2 which is one of the best action movies EVER made hands down!!!

#RRR is just pure Cinema - it is celebration of the medium that is cinema unapologetically. I always Awe at how Perfect RRR is in delivering what it pitches. Great Character Arcs, Stays true to the Indian Filmmaking Larger than life style, utilises every minute efficiently, stays on the narrative till the end, brilliant performance by both the lead actors, great Music & cinematography, Wonderful Direction by SS Rajamouli & finally how is this movie so long but also so short at the same time (3hrs just went by). It is in my 'All Time Favourites" 🙌

I don’t think it’s a good idea to compare The Dark Knight with Tim Burton’s Batman because they’re just different from each other despite having the titular character. Comparing The Dark Knight with The Batman, though, feels like the right idea.
