I didn't realize mousepads were a hot subject *brings out 10 of his pads*.

so I've used a variation of the Hein for quite some time, started with the soft in siege, and went to a mid in apex, as my aim has gotten better and I personally have matured I find the pad too fast, so I went out and bought a zowie gsrse (the current one, didn't go for the insanely popular and expensive 2017) and the way you described the gsr is how I feel about the sr se, I feel stuck. with my Hein its like I don't have to even think about tracking when my hand just does it for me, but I still find it too fast for anything needing the slightest bit of control, I looked at the zero because I have heard such great things but its never in stock, would the otsu be a good choice or should I wait for the zero to come back in stock?

Something to consider is if the mousepad is affected by humidity! Artisan mousepads are not affected by humidity unlike the logitech and the zowie. This is big for people who don't play inside an air controlled room at all times because it will feel inconsistent in different environments (in a room without ac or in a room with ac). Some pads get super muddy in hot environments and if you take gaming serious this is something you should consider.

Solid takes, I have all of these pads as well. My main for a while now has been the GSRSE for Valorant, it is the pad I play the best on no doubt. I would suggest the Inked Gaming Pad for anyone's first pad for tac shooters. For BR's and fast shooters, as a first pad I would suggest the Hayate Otsu B mid if you have the money and if you don't I would suggest the Razer Strider or Aqua Control Plus (The white and colored variants are the same(The black one is the only one that is not heat pressed and they renamed it the Aqua Control 2 to reduce confusion)).

Well, it's great to see the differences with the experience of use not just specs, and since it's impossible to get some of them it makes this video a little more aprrenciated. Cheers! 🤘⚡

Shout-out to this man for actually going over mice and mousepads. No one else does that! You're the man!

Thanks for your objective comments about mousepads. One suggestion for a video I would like to see: Talk a little bit about your desk! Things like optimal size, height, etc. Is for sure individual, but still, if you play with an XL mousepad, then there needs to be an adequate big surface somewhere. For exact that reason, I play with an M size pad and higher mouse sensitivity. Do not have a bigger desk ;-)

Totally agree with the opinion on Hien and Hayate Otsu. I enjoyed it so much when use it for COD and Battlefield esp trying to play as "rush sniper". I am no where near pro, but definitely can feel with the precision, every quick swipe headshot is so satisfying.

I play siege/valorant/warzone on low-medium sens and I enjoy the Hien XL. Obviously everyone has their own preferences and one day I'll probably try the Hayate Otsu XL but for now I've been pretty happy with my purchase. Great video like always Ali

It'd be amazing if you ever made a video trying the LTT mousepad, considering they made a video on the many hoops they jumped through to get it done to their standard, so I wonder how it'd compare to the tried and tested mousepads.

For those looking for the artisan zero fx they do have the artisan zero classic in stock and ready to ship now they only difference is that the classic doesnt have braided edges but if youre willing to sacrifice that then youll get it for 35 dollars for a XL soft vs 100 dollars everyone else is selling it for
