Aim skill ceiling is highest on Skypad. It's insanely good, consistent and durable too. Only downsides are that it eats through mouse feet and that any dust/hairs that fall into it are extremely noticeable and you 100% need to remove them

Gotta be tied with Dave2D for the cleanest presentation on Youtube.
Easily the most watchable tech channel on the platform.
I don't even care about mouse pads and I'll watch every second

It took me about a week to get used to the Skypad, I got it because after a few months I could never get the cloth mousepads to feel consistent even after cleaning, it was never the same as factory new. I value the consistency of the glass pad, even after a year it feels brand new. Glad you mentioned about the PTFE glides and muddy feel of the mousepad, but even after cleaning my G640 cloth mousepad it feels rough towards the center and smoother at the edges. Anyways great video

EDIT: To clean the skypad I just run a lint roller over it and if it ever gets really dirty you get just a wetwipe

Gaming sleeve with a part that goes over your hand has worked wonders for me and I love this pad

Sorry you didn't like the skypad :(

I love mine with corepads and just being able to wipe it once with a cloth and know that it feels the exact same as it did (in every spot) a year ago is great. The inconsistencies of cloth and needing to wash them to keep them feeling the same was annoying. I think the wrist bunching isn't an issue for me because the games I play don't require me to ever really lift my wrist. It can stay planted the whole time.

I do have to wipe sweat every 30 minutes or so but that just shows how much sweat (salt, oil, skin, etc) is going into a cloth pad constantly without realizing it.

FPS gamer with 30 years of extensive gaming here

Mousepad:
-Glass/Iron mousepads are no go. Why? Think about sweating and then … The only thing here is to buy specific cover on your arm and glove, but let’s face it. Are you ready on this in home conditions?
- I stick with cloth mousepads

Mouse skates:
- Did not feel anything better then Hyperglides

P.S. Gosh I love this channel. This guy has so many interesting things as truly gamer

Try using a single half finger “artist drawing glove” and wears it over your middle finger, it completely solves the palm sticking to the pad yet no restriction finger movement as well.

I have been using the skypad 3.0 for about 3 months now. I never had problem sticking unless it's super hot. I bought a arm sleeve and I honestly don't feel like I need it. Flicks are not very easy, but with practice, it gets easy, tracking is insane, I feel like I have aim assist sometimes. If you don't sweat while gaming, I think skypad is no brainer, it's always consistent, a quick wipe down before playing is all the maintenance you need. Humidity doesn't affect performance which is something I had a problem on cloth pads with hyperglide, which was my setup before, where everyday day it would feel different, some days I had good aim, other I didn't. Now it's pretty consistent

ive had the skypad 3.0 for about 3 months now and I have to say it is by far my best purchase. more expensive but its definitely worth it. I got a sleeve with a thumb hole and it eliminates all the cons he said in the video. definitely recommend!

I love my Superglides. I just use a hair lint roller over my mousepad once I'm done to keep it clean. I've never had an issue with them since I do this every two to three days when I game heavily.

First time I've ever seen the hairdryer test. Clever.

I do like seeing the guy reviewing it also actually has good aim.

You've gotta try superglides with a hard pad. I'm using superglides on a logitech g pro superlight with double sided razer hard pad. Feels like an air hockey table. This combo is heaven. My aim and score has improved by 20 percent. Not only aim is better but fatigue is down and gaming is more enjoyable.

Been using the SkyPad 2.0 for a while now and can say that I generally prefer it over PTFE skates and a cloth pad. I also tried superglides which were alright, but the inconsistencies on my cloth pad lead me back to using the SkyPad. I generally don't have sweaty hands or arms when I'm gaming, so I believe that's a major reason why I continue to use the SkyPad over any of my other pad.

I gotta ask dude, can you share a workout routine? You’re JACKED and I’m so curious what your diet/exercise routine is.

I bought a skypad a few months ago and I love every second of using it. I came from cloth to g440 and I already had the sweat problem there. I picked up one of those artist gloves (I don't know if it's called that but those pinky and ring finger gloves they use to draw on tablets) and that worked for me on the g440 and I love it on my skypad. I only wear it while playing FPS games. it does get sweaty and needs to be washed but the sweat doesn't bother me on the pad anymore.
my cat on the other hand... every time she walks over my skypad I need to wipe the hair off. unlike my g440 she doesn't like sitting on it and block my mouse. maybe that's because the glass feels cold on her toebeans.
