So are artisan mousepads actually worth it?

I’ve seen people hyping them up for a while now and, after using this random desk mat from Best Buy for years, I decided that it was time to try something new.

I finally caved and purchased an extra-large Hien FX with extra soft firmness a couple months ago.

“Yeah but I’m not a fan of the color” **Pink mouse**

Yeah it’s a luxury item for people who play an absurd amount of FPS or RTS games. It’s not worth it unless you want that luxury.

The one thing that had me sold on artisan mouse pads was the pads unique thing where it doesnt get affected by humidity so the speed stays the same until the break in period

What about us players that don't have a desk to put the Artisan mouse pad on?

It’s a luxury item that you definitely do not need, but once you have it, it’s a great quality of life improvement. Also the price of their staple, artisan zero, is 60 dollars, not $100 for an XL pad. The same goes for their hien and raiden pads.

Artisan mouse pads aren’t $100 LMFAO, they are $65 including shipping.

What I would say is only get x soft if you know what you're doing, other than that just go with soft, only get fx zero, hayate otsu, or hien, those are the best, hien is the fastest, zero is the most control and hayate is in the middle.

Artisan pads are awesome. If you want something a little cheaper the LGG pads are a close competitor. I got the Venus and it's really good. A little slower than my Hayate Otsu.

I run my mouse raw over my unpolished wooden table

Try the Hayate Otsu. It's like an even smoother Hien with similar x and y axis resistance.

I just got the hayate otsu mid xl wine red. It’s a bit faster of a pad. It’s not a bad combo either with glass mouse skates. You will notice the glide is a lot smoother. I did learn that if you increase your mouse dpi it will lower latency.

" Im not spending $100 for a mouse pad..Thats stupid and overpriced"

And yet these same people will drop $20 on mud pads that they will replace 20 times in 3
.
Are they worth it?

You have a pink mouse, you didn't randomly select that wine color. You wanted the world to know you're fabulous!
