I am so glad and grateful that you work for such a wonderful hospital with a compassionate team. Some of us don't get that lucky. My first hospital experience right out of school was horrifying. 85% of our staff was burned out, they hated their jobs, forget any kind of compassion and there was so much hospital politics, and back stabbing, it was unreal. As you mentioned yes it is a high stress job but if you don't have a good team it becomes and even more challenging environment to work in. I fell sick after I left that hospital and took a break. Now I am finally much better and stepping back in the job market. I would love to work for a hospital again but for the moment I am looking into surgery centers to atleast get back into the swing of things before jumping into chaos again. Thank you for your channel. You give me hope :)
