is there a way to convert 2TB of movies and tv series with a simple one click, the reason I'm asking is im giving a friend of mine my collection, but it all has to be in the same file type thats suitable for a sony ps3.He doesnt have any computers otherwise id just advise him to get ps3 media server and stream it to his tv.The only way he can watch is by hooking his external hard drive up to his ps3.

I'm on a mac, and I have a corrupt .mp4 file that I can't open, and I really need your help, I'm going insane trying to figure this out.

It's 2.64 GB big, but it says the duration is 00:00:00 and I can't open it.. not even with VLC and I don't see anything that says convert in any of the menus.

I've had some luck getting a preview, but I can't pay $200 on the internet to fix it.

Any ideas?

Which version of the VLC player did you use? For some reason it seems that the VLC player I dowloaded looks different then every video I find on the net. The one I downloaded was VLC 2.0.7

No, it's a file my computer wrote itself. I was capturing gameplay from my Xbox 360.

This happens occasionally, but this time it was to a file that I really need.

Do you know of a way to fix the corrupted file? There is a program out there that seems to have done the trick (mp4repair[.]org), but that says it's going to make me pay $200+, and that's just ridiculous.
