DJI How to install the Zenmuse H3-2D On Your Phantom

Показать описание
The DJI ZenmuseH3-2D Gimbal is another milestone in gimbal innovation, which is designed for the GoPro Hero3. With its high precision, high stability, lightweight, plug and play features, it is widely used in film and television productions, advertising aerial photography, etc. Even if the aircraft is in high-speed flight, it can still stabilize and control the GoPro camera precisely with the highest stability. The precision of control angle is within the range of ±0.08°, so picture or video output can reach the best quality.

The Naza module is not included in the gimbal kit...so now it can't work without it? Why do they assume everyone buying their products knows this and is savvy enough to do all this? Some people are film makers ...not electricians or RC pilots. NKT

Ignore the trolls. I can perefctly read all the text. However, what I find surprising is that the video doesn't match the manual in the way the power wiring is done, especially for the tail LED unit.

What size screwdriver to open the phantom shell? Hex or torq and what size?

I need help. I got the new p330cb-h3-2d upgrade kit with Zenmuse H3-2D gimbal. Do I still need the Naza PMU V2 or not??? I don't have the Naza PMU V2 and I can't connect the GCU to the MC v1 for some reason??? no ports from MC to connect to GCU. There is no info anywhere on how I can connect it without the Naza PMU V2. please help.

1. Can this gimbal handle the weight of a BlurFix Micro filter mount and filter without throwing it off balance? We need these on our Gopros to reduce jello. 2. Can we use the Battery BackPac on the Hero3 while using this gimbal? Thanks

Ask Bill about FPV Transmitters and Receivers. He's selling great ones now. Yellow Jacket Pro. Those with Fat Shark goggles are a great combo. I'm buying the Yellow Jacket system from hm soon when I get the money together.

this looks insane! why dont they just sell one already built with the gimbal?

Just got done installing my Zenmuse and followed all the instructions. It works amazing except with the PMU V2 it makes it a lot heavier. I think I'm going to return the PMU and get the upgrade MC board instead with all the connections integrated. So I don't have to stuff two extra boxes in my phantom. After that, my filming will be amazing with my Gopro Hero 3+!

Blade makes some very good stuff, but, again, I'd urge combing through the forums at Heli Freak before you decide. They are famous for QC and rushed-to-market issues. One guy will love his and the next gets a lemon. And, if you have to do stuff like upgrading motors because the originals are crap, then it's not a very "beginners" thing anymore, is it? When it comes to quads, if you ask an RC heli hobbyist who comes to mind first when quads are mentioned, it ain't Blade. ;-)

When will they ship them with the gimbal already factory installed and just charge the appropriate price for the two together?? This way indie filmmakers don't have to take a crash course on advanced RC hobbyist techno mechanics. I've never soldered something in my life. Now I have to get a soldering iron which I will not need again?! I want to buy the car and be able to drive it out of the showroom. Not buy the car and then learn how to change the brake pads before I can hit the road.

For those complaining about not being plug and play, most folks flying rc helicopters/multicopters are pretty used to a lot more complicated stuff than this. By comparison to building a kit from ground up, this IS plug 'n play. I mean, how hard is it to solder four wires to big, fat circuit board pads? I suppose that, technically, it isn't quite PnP but this is pretty darn close.

1. Plug and play? I hardly think so - soldering irons immediately take it out of that region of easy fixes.

2. The NAZA-M V2 PMU shown in the video - not mentioned anywhere on your site other than the user manual for the gimbal (which I read after it arrived). I now have to spend more money and wait for it to arrive before I can carry on.

Poor DJI, pretty poor.

Shame, as the phantom's great and I'm sure the gimbal will be as well.

Ya know what sucks? Having dropped coin for a Zenmuse, only to find out I need a freaking PMU NO instructions, no dealer advise and now, the things are out of stock.... Effin great. Way to go DJI. now my phantom sits on the bench, all apart and I get to wait for another part. $600 and you cant include the darn thing in the box?

Search for Arris CM2000 and Tarot gimbal both are the best for plug and play right now. Unlike this useless company that take advantage of people and charged them $700 for a broken down gimbal.

There is a replacement main-board now which makes this a much tidier installation:
Search youtube for "DJI Phantom Upgrade Kit Installation".. (video id: EU-9xW3JJ1Y)

There is no other gimbal that compares. Sadly, its a bit more than plug and play.

ghosesttjr2, did you really need to post the same Q 7 times? Sheesh.

I did everything in the video and the gimbal does not work. I don't think that I did something wrong. Do your gimbals hummm when it is not moving?
