How to Install the DJI FPV Drone Arm Bracers

**NOTED: The tool that comes with the drone to remove the body screws are different and do NOT fit this screw. I feel accessories that are sold separately should come with its own tool. Also, while the screw can tighten from both directions, I did switch it to screw in from the bottom up instead of top down. The bracket was extremely tight and while it did initially feel secure, but the proper way to screw it is from the bottom up. 👍

With the small cracks I had on my DJI FPV drone from a recent crash, I decided to try out the new Arm Bracers. I'm hoping this gives the arms a little more stability in the event my drone takes another tumble. In this quick video, I show you have to install the new DJI FPV Arm Bracers.

Just incase people are not aware: the arm braces kit now comes included with a small screwdriver tool to tighten the included screws (reversible, to fit these screws and also the body screws).

Great! And I thought this thing couldn't look more like a little alien ship 😂
I'll be standing by to see how you get on with a flight test to see if its worth getting some brackets for mine.

Great video, you seem to be the only person that continues on with the DJI FPV videos and not just the first look hype videos then never coming back to it

Also screws go underneath drone not above.

But why does the drone body itself not made of carbon fiber as every other fpv

FPV comuniti will make real carbon arm parts in future as well as proper gimbal cover to fly with that protective part.Thats us...
Ass well we will make whole carbon frame to transplate wholle internals from that plastic crap in real durable frame.😉

What's the idea behind this, resistance on the arms, crash protection ?

Why to make it six minutes flight time

DJI felt they needed to sell us another part for an already expensive drone. I’d say it’s a design flaw. Landing on the battery and antennas. Not good. I own this drone and have flown it twice. Don’t want to wreck it. DJI should send these to all FPV drone owners no charge.

Great video as always. But let me give an advice about this. This improves the overall strength of the structure, no doubt about it, but if you crash at high speeds it may cause all the arms to break not just one.

I'm actually good with them not including a tool. I only have a freakin' thousand of them from everything that does include one. If you've got $1000 toys you should have a few dollars spent on owning your own set of screw drivers, allen wrenches, sockets etc. That's just how I feel about it.

New drone needs additional supports to strengthen it. R&D fail in other words.

The screws are screwed in from the wrong side!

I wondered what these were for, great vid Aldryn 👍

It's disappointing that these reduce visibility of the LEDs and create drag because structural rigidity is important to most FPV owners.

Thanks for sharing! Will wait for the follow up flight test video on this.

These will help stop the arms from flexing in flight. Your response time should be noticeably better.

useful video, I think the screws might need to go the other way round on the clamps...

Is this an odd accessory? Sure it changes the flying performance?

I think it is very okay from DJI that there is no tool included . Everybody who fly’s or do stuff with thinks like that have tools at home, so why making more garbage as necessary?
But thanks for de Video
