For the people who don’t know the Captin sent the co pilot out of the cockpit and open 2 hatch’s so that the pressured air goes out and all people except him because he put the masks on and so did the passengers but they only had 20 mins of air after everyone was either dead of unconscious he turned off all the planes way of being detected by atc then he turned back to Malaysia and had to make sure that he didn’t get in the neighboring country airspace then since he still had about 5-8 hours of fuel he went in the middle of the Indian Ocean and then opened the hatch again
Knowing that nobody would be able to figure out where the plane was and he did that same flight on his home computer and recorded it the same turns and he even turned off the the equipment as soon as he hit igari

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370/MAS370)[a] was an international passenger flight operated by Malaysia Airlines that disappeared from radar on 8 March 2014 while flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia to its planned destination, Beijing Capital International Airport in China.[1] The reason for the disappearance has not been conclusively determined. The crew of the Boeing 777-200ER, registered as 9M-MRO, last communicated with air traffic control (ATC) around 38 minutes after takeoff when the flight was over the South China Sea. The aircraft was lost from ATC's secondary surveillance radar screens minutes later, but was tracked by the Malaysian military's primary radar system for another hour, deviating westward from its planned flight path, crossing the Malay Peninsula and Andaman Sea. It left radar range 200 nautical miles (370 km; 230 mi) northwest of Penang Island in northwestern Peninsular Malaysia.

"Planes go up, planes go down, what planes don't do, is just vanish of the face of the face of the earth." Has to be one of the most bone-chilling sentences out there

In the 1980s a SAA plane went down in the indian ocean and they found it relatively quickly.. it is strange 40 years later with all the new technology that they still can't find the wreck and give the families some closure
