I had this school “friend” I would sit with every day in class, and I’ve never felt more relieved since summer started and everything involving this person disappeared in my life. Our relationship was so draining and consuming, and I could not let go of it because I actually felt like I needed to be with this person or otherwise I would be left out. At the end, I discovered how hypocrite and superficial they were and I couldn’t care less when I stopped talking to them.
