The only detailed breakdown you can't get on EU spending is the administration costs.

Last year the bully boy EU were saying how Britain would suffer, well I think it's the EU who are feeling from the financial earthquake.
Nobody wants to see Europe in tatters but let's be honest, this level playing field is all About the EU.
Business is not a level playing field, never was and never will be.
You have this ideological idea of all being the same, all have an equal vote when I think Britain has nothing in common with many European countries and some countries are heavily subsiding others.
The ideology will fly out the window now as money talks bigtime.
Looking at Britain it should have an obligation to its own citizens first.
It even give aid to countries developing nuclear weapons like Pakistan.
Leo Varadkar who just resigned wanted to be an EU heavyweight now he is asked to cough up more?
All the. Okey the EU gave Ireland comes area cost, there is no thing as a free lunch.
Britain leaving the EU is like a warship getting torpedod.
The EU ship is taking water and it will go down, it will take a while but it will sink, watch countries jump ship.
Germany is going to pick up the tab, Macron might be the idealist EU pretty boy but the average French man hates his guts Paris is in termoil but they don't show that on main stream TV.
Le Penn may make a come back and pull France out the block.
Just speculation, I'm as much an expert as most of the media, is not much

My home country pays for my roads... why would we pay more if the member states are the ones that handle it?

Give us YOUR money so we can spend it where WE want to. IF this EU Budget is, as she says, such a SMALL Amount, WHY did the 20th February Meeting NOT come to an Agreement so that it could be sorted out quickly, reasonably and rationally by getting the "Net Contributors" to PAY UP! SIMPLES!!

The art of reaching unanimity between 27 governements and 27 parlaments = 54 parties.
Good Luck. Isn't the EU toast by now?

How's this for an EU budget translation : you all give us lots of money, what we don't spend on our inflated salaries, our expenses, our pensions, and offices we hardly use we will split unfairly between you, you may get much less than you put in but that's just life in the corrupt EU.

"Each member state pays the equivalent of 1 cup of coffee per day". LOL. If it is this cheap, why are we even having this conversation? It looks like a waste of time to spend time on meetings to discuss something that is so cheap. Even I could pay for my country EU fee.
