*About Me*

Hi! My name is Jenn! I started this channel in April of 2018 to meet bookish-minded people and be nerdy with them. I mostly focus on Romance Novels and I'm not afraid to get a little wild. After losing my job in early 2022, I started content creating full time. It's only because of the amazing Romance Community that I am able to do this.

Thanks so much for watching!

XOXO,
Jenn

When The Earl Met His Match,
Adjacent But Only Just, and One Kiss Alone are some of my first and favorite historical romances I’ve read this year, and there’s so many more on my TBR!🥰

Love Loretta Chase! The whole Carsington series is good, but Mr. Impossible is by far my favorite. Rupert is my fantasy boyfriend. Lord of Scoundrels and The Last Hellion by the same author are also fabulous.

I have to be totally upfront with the fact that I actually have a hard time with new historical romance. It’s rare that I find one that I like. I think it’s because writers are trying to appeal to the modern point of view of/for women instead of working within the historical context while making the female character intelligent and independent. Not sure if I’m explaining this well. These are some old and new authors that I have found some gems to read over the years. There have been so many but maybe someone out there will find something to love from one of them.

I've had the Leigh Greenwood Seven Brides for Seven Brothers on my TBR for forever. When my mom didn't want them anymore, I took them. And that was 20 years ago! 😂

💕💜💙🧡💛💕 All of the hearts! ♡\( ̄▽ ̄)/♡
I highly encourage the Alice Coldbreath book, the heroine is a male impersonator and it's fantastic! (not a spoiler, that's in the first chapter of the book) Leigh Greenwood is also a blast, I don't remember his Seven Brothers series as well as I do his Cowboys series but I do remember searching through used bookstores to find all the books. Obviously, a reread must be done 😁
I need to read Heart in the Highlands and Untouched! They both sound so good. Sigh, I need more hours in my day . . .
