Ravishing the Heiress by Sherry Thomas is an absolute hidden gem. Worst title but so much longing. Made me cry.

I really need to read The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie and the Highwayman! You've already read this, but my favorite historical romance is The Viscount Who Loved Me. That set the bar SO high and now I'm on a hunt for books that will top it!

Have you read Karen Robards? She is amazing. I would recommend Island Flame and Dark Torment. Island Flame is a pirate, captive romance. Dark Torment takes place in Australia in 1820s when it was a prison colony. He's a convict she's a highborn landowners daughter and it is SO SO GOOD!

The favorites that I read time & time again are 'A Kingdom of Dreams, ' 'Ransom, ' & 'The Secret.' I've read each at least half a dozen times, and I have read 'Kingdom' once year for probably 25 years as I just love that Jen is so strong and Royce has to bend/evolve.

Devil's Daughter by Lisa Kleypas (Book 5 in The Ravenels) was literally everything I love in a historical romance. Widow, slight enemies to lovers, absolutely adorable and hilarious. I'll also throw in Hello Stranger by Lisa Kleypas (Book 4 in The Ravenels) purely for the hero.

I just started reading historical romance in summer of 2020 and I am not looking back! My favorites are probably ones most people have read already as I'm a newbie. So far my favorites are Governess Game by Tessa Dare and The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn,

I couldn’t pick a favorite historical romance (my OG love) but I could pick authors. In no order: Lisa Kleypas, Julie Garwood, Amanda Quick, Judith McNaught. I’ve read all their books.

I am astonished!!! Where oh where is my beloved Judith Mcnaught's "A KINGDOM OF DREAMS?!?!?!?" That is quite possibly my FAVORITE historical romance of all time! I'm shocked...and a little heartbroken 💔
