Crime would go down big time if sharia law was in place. The criminals would know the consequences of crime and be a lot less likely to victimize people.

In reality the Muslim would be charged less severely than a non Muslim under Sharia law. It would not eliminate crime and it would not be a more just or fairer justic system.
