Qu - Celebrating 10,000,000 gigs!

The Qu series has reached a huge milestone, 10,000,000 gigs mixed!

To celebrate this iconic achievement, we sat down with Senior Product Manager, Keith Johnson, to discuss how it's gotten to where it is today.

Love the QU Series mixers, thanks so much: Norm Simmer (ListenUp pro-audio/retired) being an Allen & Heath dealer for many years during my career @ListenUp & A&H products with great success, so when I started consulting with a new Listening Room Venue here in Montrose CO & realized the number of operators would have varying degrees of experience on digital mixers the QU series was my first choice. I’m looking forward to A&H support & service continuing on this series for another 10-years…THANKS AGAIN & Keep on Rockin !

We're a amateur rock cover band from Germany and we bought this Qu-16 in 2014, when it still had black faders. It's been running ever since for quite a number of shows, and band members also have used it for shows with other bands and we're still very confident with the unit. We just did another live recording with the Qu-16 that will end up in a new trailer video finally, it's about time.

We originally purchased the Allen & Heath ZED-12FX, then the GL2400, followed by the QU16, and now the SQ6. We love it!

Often looked down on by the "digital snobs" the QU just works. Once set up one can get a novice to the point of doing a simple mix in just a few minutes, then move them along to something more adventurous as their skill increases, which is unlike so many of the more expensive/complex digital desks where there is a mountain to climb before even getting to the "my first mix" stage.
The QU range does lack some of the bells and whistles of say the SQ, but those aren't always needed, or even understood by many users for whom simple wins.
