Why the Apple Vision Pro is so expensive?

So at first you might think this is just about profits. But there are headsets that cost 2 or even 3 times as much, so Apple could've made it more expensive. $3,500 is actually a carefully chosen price, based on 3 factors.
The last one might piss off iPhone users.

3. Familiarity. So before Apple, Microsoft actually released a headset for the same price. Now while tech should get cheaper overtime, Apple went the extra mile. 2 processors, 12 cameras, and even a knob to filter out poor people.

2. Gamers. So companies like Meta make more profit on games, than the headset. But Apple is avoiding gaming, so has to make almost all their profit on the headset.

1. Confusion. Apple could have released a non-Pro product under $1,000. But then people would compare it to existing products, and realise it has way less apps and things to do. That's
