People are comparing it to the iPhone launch and it is nothing like that for so many reasons. This one will fail but it might lead to something else down the line that is smaller, lighter, cheaper and safer to wear anywhere with a mature ecosystem. The iPhone was useful on day 1 despite some compromises at the time.
