I am going through somewhat the same. It started with my roommates asking if they can borrow an Onion. Till now they own me 300 dollars and the items they borrowed. Mind you i did not know them before i took the room for rent. The worst part is that as our lease gets over in 2 months they no longer ask before taking anything. (They never replaced it so i have no hopes). As far as the money, i plan to deduct in the rent amount.🤞
