I hate people who call their opposite gender friend as bestfriend and later on get married to them/get into relationship. If you are attracted to them then why to use the term "best friend" to mention them on social media ??
I think these things create the insecurity among boys/girls.

it’s true. No matter how much you pretend that, you are smart, modern, open minded, you can't deny the truth. Boy and girl can't friends. One of them will be attracted to another. Majority of the time it’s boys. A girl smiles with you, shares her story with you, she makes fun of you, help you, & she is constantly doing them over & over again. How can a person not love her? Not fall for her? We are not saint, not made of Stone. Forget sexuality. I'm talking about love. If you meet someone everyday & spend time with, you are meant to be in love. That's 101 of love.

Ofc. If a Guy and a Girl will spend thier most of the time together, holding, supporting and celebrating every good and bad moment in thier life, It's called Love for sure. BUT, who says that love is only in romantic relationship? Can't two friends, rather best friends be in love? That's why they care for each other right. Love doesn't mean to be sexual. If every special connection like mother & child, teacher & student even btw our neighbours & strangers doesn't have love in it, there will be No Humanity Left. Well said. This is the INDIA culture maintained by both boys and girls from childhood. but from a teenager, Friendship is always a ship that travels to a destination combinedly. A good-hearted boy always aspires to marry women who never do have boyfriends. he becomes a slave to her after marriage and will make her queen of his kingdom
