British Military Reacts To Indian Military Hell March 2024

This is probably the most requested video this year and once again the Indian Military do not disappoint. The video does seem a lot more political rather than purely military, but some of there stands are absolutely beautiful.

Good Day To You All,

My name is King Sloth. I am a variety content creator and streamer from the UK and do anything from videologs to gaming to reactions to livestreams. I pretty much go wherever my mood takes me. My full time job is an active military personel in the Royal Air Force which I love.

Hope to see you all soon and hope to make someone smile.

Don't take life to seriously and if anyone is going to make a fool of themselves it will probably be me...

7:13 Camels (the single hump type) are not used by the Army, they are used in a limited manner by the Border Security Force for patrolling in peacetime (obviously they're not used as battle taxis lol). But the Army does use the two-humped Bactrian camels up in the Himalayas, although only rarely. Much more common in the Army are Mules, for last mile logistics in the mountains, from base camps to the forward posts. Indian Army has 6000 Mules. They've recently ordered around a 100 "Robotic mules" (you know that robot Spot from Boston Dynamics? Similar to those, can carry 10 kg payload for 10 km), but I don't think they're enough to replace the mules.

On a related note, the Chinese PLA still have a messenger Pigeon Division with thousands of pigeons. They still consider it useful in case of a comms. blackout due to enemy EW.

2:51 Yep. Mobile bridging systems are really cool. Bridging ops are a major part of Indian Army exercises because the Pakistanis have dug multiple lines of canals parallel to the border to act as an obstacle to any Indian Army formation/unit that maneuvers into Pakistani territory. As a result whenever the Indian Army exercises on the Western front, contested river/canal crossing ops are a standard feature.

3:20 Madras is the former name of the City of Chennai, currently the capital of the Tamil Nadu state. So many things that have originated in and around that city will have "Madras" in their names.

5:35 Special rehearsals for the parade marching itself starts around 15 days before the actual parade. There is one full dress rehearsal two days before the parade.

7:58 Those are actually names of states. Few states qualify each year to send their own Cultural Float to the parade, as do certain Ministries of the Central Government. This parade is not actually a "military parade", it is more of a parade that celebrates The Republic of India. This day in 1950, the Indian Constitution came into force.

9:50 Yeah, you got it now. This is _everything_ . Not just the military. It is Indian cultural, industrial and military might on display. It is the same every year. The previous one you watched, some dude on YouTube just put it together to make it look like a military only parade. Even the name "Hell March" is not official, just something YouTube creators call it.

1:39 Jai Hind!

Because it was a republic day parade not a military parade.

There is this video by the Defence R&D Organization of India that released early this year that showcases some of the milestones Indian weapons technology crossed last year. The channel "Defence Decode" has it by the video name "DRDO video of all TEST and Trials in 2023."

Would be cool to see you react to it.

Madras now Chennai is the capital of the state of Tamilnadu.Madras curry is the curry that is from that city. Like you have bombay bad boy noodles, bombay mix named after the city of bombay. now mumbai. like you get nagaland chilli sauce from nagaland in India. If you look at some Indian restaurant menus in the UK and look at the map of India some of the currys are named after which place they are from. Like here in England how we have like Lancashire hot pot which is from Lancashire, cornish pastie from Cornwall like that. Anyways Indian watching from southend on sea.🙂👍P.S.they do do all the military first then this parade.the footage you are watching is cut and pasted. Also Bharath is the original, ancient name of India.👍
