For tankers (air refuelers), the reason India value shows less, is due to fact, that many of military cargo planes India has, has been retrofitted to work as dual role, where based on role required, they can either become cargo ships or Air refuelers, *so dedicated Tankers value shows less in value for purpose of counting, while in reality number of Air tankers India has for practical purpose is way way more than UK*

Again in Mine warfare, *India has a lot of duel role ships, which also double up to work as mine warfare* so yes dictated mine warfare we has less. So take India less number of mine warfare ships with a pinch of salt. But that also doesnt mean we are doing exceptionally well in mine warfare, India needs to do a lot more, though I am not certain, how many more ships will be multipurpose for mineware and how many dedicated more to mine warfare ONLY.

Britain doesnt need to invest in military unlike India, India is surrounded by two arch enemies. And Great britain doesnt fight alone, most of their campaigns against strong opponents post ww1 have been with the support of other commonwealth and post ww2 has been with USA, while India stands alone.
