Cassie beating Nate’s chest only to fall into his arms is like a doomed bug caught in a spiderweb. She’s so lost inside, it’s heartbreaking to watch.

after Nates assault to Maddy ... seeing this made me so so angry this is worse than a betrayal and she is left with a sociopath who planned a perfect life with Cassie as a trophy wife and his dads business.

when Maddie was just curled up on her bed, sobbing, I lost it and started crying with her. Not only was she betrayed by her two closest people, the lack of apologetic feelings, care for her or regret from Cassie and Nate brakes my heart for Maddie. This storyline is brutal, but sadly, very realistic.

omg they are a sick and twisted romance novel I SWEAR and im HERE for it. Maddy is too good for either of these creatures so now that’s out of the way let us hone in. cassie once said to nate, “i love that im your secret, ” to which he replies, “i love how twisted you are”. Now she tells him “I ruined my life for you, ” and starts beating his chest which you know turns him on more. They are so well developed and those were killer lines. I mean at least she blames herself. These two just loveee toxicity. NGL i love them for it. Okay, bye.

I KNOW what's happening here is bad, but this was such a beautiful scene, the acting, the lighting, the music, the way Sidney delivers her line, how the singer starts to sing at the exact moment they kiss, they did such a good job

I remember saying the same thing at 18 when i was doing terrible choices in my life ( a toxic relationship was one of them) now I'm 27 and when i saw this I saw myself there... And i wish I could tell Cassie " no baby, you haven't ruined anything you can start all over, you can find real love, you have plenty of time for it"

I love Cassie, but what she did this season was very disappointing. Let's all remember poor girl did all this for male validation because of the trauma she faced. Maddy deserves better than Cassie and Nate. I hope Cassie will get better and actually feel bad about what she did, but I know that she probably won't :(

If we think about it, somehow cassie is crazier than maddy (and more naive, not to say stupid). I mean, we know maddy will get revenge or throw her shit in front of everyone like nate's family at carnival, but what do we know about cassie? She knows she has lost everything, her family and friends, she only has nate left and we don't know what she will be able todo just to stay by her side. I've seen a lot of people who compare maddy and nate's relationship to Marsha and cal, but I feel that cassie x nate fit a lot more, because cassie would be the kind of wife/girlfriend that would screw all the crap out of nate and stay there no matter what.

I actually cried in this part of the episode. I know what it feels like to lose everything and disappoint everyone and yet end up with that one person again.

Op: I think she’s portraying the rage she has against the trauma her father caused in her life and how it affected in the long run her self-esteem and her dating and sexual life. “I’ve ruined my entire life for you.” It’s like she’s referring to every boy she ever dated or that sexually assaulted or mistreated her. Every moment she let her thoughts about her insecurities speed up so much to the point she thought she wasn’t beautiful. Every time she let someone laugh at her or be mean to her for no reason. Even Nate doesn’t get why she’s saying that and frowns at her. The pushing and punching she gives is the fighting back to all of these things that torment her.

I hate her so much in this episode, the whole time she cries and screams it's about herself, she doesn't care about the damage she caused around her. The sadness that Maddy is going through. she's so self-absorbed and it made me so sick to watch her act like such a spoiled little brat. I hope the play Lexie wrote opens her eyes a little bit. I saw the teaser for the next episode and she walks into school next to nate, almost as if she's proud of what she's done. Really sick to watch this, I feel for Maddy a lot this season and I wonder how all of this will affect her. Because clearly cassie lost her mind and won't be taking any measures to ensure some kind of forgivness for the harm she caused Maddy.
