This video is purely focused on making a team with a driven win con. This is the right choice, as a video covering all the details of the circus would be very long. However, it leaves out additional characteristics of characters: support, heals disruption, spot dependency (ex. characters who only function in specific spaces like leper) and defense. The pyramid mainly focuses on how each character plays into a win condition without putting much detail into the other aspects of the characters (Not disagreeing with this choice, a super long video is not beginner friendly).
I would love to see this made into a series that gives a deep dive on a specific aspect of the butchers Circus. For now, though, this video is a greater starting place for beginners to the circus.

As a side note, I agree with keeping damage and DoT separate because of how different their characters and playstyles are. It is still oversimplified, as many teams blur the lines by seeking multiple win cons (Last Stand is best example)

i built a team recently based off someone i played against. i liked his idea but made it much better and now, it has like an >80% win rate and i like it. usually, its because the enemy surrenders cause he isnt having any fun haha double stun, repost highway man, double heals, pulls, dots and its awesome

I think this will be usefull for me. I tried to experiment with teams, but I've climbed to the highest rank with just:
Flagellant (getting enemies to Afflictions, bleeding them out, a little healing)
Abomination (stressing with switching rapidly between forms, riposte and stuns)
Highwayman (riposte, killing with higher deathblow chance on knife attack, some AOE stress and damage with pistol)
Antiquarian (mainly healing, flashpowder and stab to finish enemies off)
It's pretty much a mess of all the 3 archetypes, but it's really fun and works well.

Hey Shep, can you play your Shep's stress next video? I'm trying the flag team you told me about and I'm struggling a bit with trinkets, abilities and overall playstyle, you making a video playing it would be helpful, thanks for all the tips btw, I've enjoyed playing the butcher circus a lot more now that I'm not losing every match :)

Plague Doctor more to B Middle triangle i Play Plague Doctor wih Amptation Saw and her Max DMG can reach 30
Hellion more to B- Situational Character She need Support in order to work

Everyone Can play DoT just Need Meele Attack and Hermlock BOOM DoT, The Only Hero Cant Do Dot its Arbalest and Musketeer they are Defenition bring gun or Ranged weapon to Battle

The fact that
1. there are so few characters in the DOT end
2. the character with the best DOT move in the game (Panic Darts) isn't even over there
and 3. DOT literally just does damage
should be proof enough to you that DOT is not a valid end on this triangle rock paper scissors analogy. Counter-intuitive and pointless, if one must insist on having three ends to a character archetype triangle than the third end should be Support. "DOT" comps are just Damage comps playing patty cake with utility skills and Dodge buffs to mess with matchups. On the other hand including Support keeps Flag in the middle, puts Crus closer to the middle, drags MAA away from pure stress (he is the GLUE that holds stress together, he himself does not have the greatest stress but Bellow provides the greatest support to KEEP DOING STRESS), and lets the selfish characters (GR, BH, Abom) remain unaffected by any stupid labeling convention just for having fuggin Caltrops and Beast Bile.

Also putting SB as A while GR and HM are B+ is genuinely dumb. SB dodge is fake and the only time I ever risked missing a Jester finale was on a Shieldbreaker I hit anyway.
