The Pixel 9 brings a lot of new features to the table in an updated design -- from new ways to use Google software trickery in the camera to straight up chatting with Google's Gemini AI, there is a lot to cover. And it's hard to really try it all in just week one. For now, I've just been enjoying the Pixel 9 as a great daily device, with some usage of the extra features as they naturally come up in my daily life. I think the Pixel looks way better than the iPhone because of the symmetry of the camera bar. The iPhone looks now outdated to me.

Some people are complaining about the poor battery. But if you go through each app and disallow battery usage in background, apart from important apps like mail and WhatsApp, the battery lasts for ages. Makes a big difference.

I currently use a samsung A11 so a new phone is definitely needed. I had my eye on the 8pro but I saw so many videos and comments on issues users were having. So i opted for the S24 as its simple but great and nowwww seeing the pixel 9 is out but moreso that the 9pro comes in a neat size I want it. Just think its smart to hold on a little longer to see what everyone's experience is like. So I'll give it another 3 months. But I definitely want that rose quartz 9pro

Sorry I am not a fan of the camera bars being protruding out like that. Putting it down will scratch or break that bar easily. Need to find a case that really protects it. Between the 6, 7, 8 and 9 the 8 lineup looks the best.

The Pixel 9 IMO feels the best out of all of them outside of the Fold I haven't tested that one.
