I thank God for Both of you! I was a little behind during the prophets because it depressed me, mainly because I live in Lebanon and things have not been going fine for a while in my country. But the thought that God is Always with us even through pain, made me get back on my feet. Although I feared Jeremiah's Lamentations mainly, I thought: "If Father Mike is doing this everyday, even if he felt depressed or tired or having a bad day, I should be able to do it." And it went like a breeze. So I am now back on track, Praying for all of you & Thanking God Everyday for this amazing Gift. As Fr. Mike says everyday: God Bless!

Hi Father Mike, I am 62 years old and have been struggling to read the Bible. This Bible in a year podcast has successfully made me read and grow spiritually. I was born in Australia and grew up with Lutheran parents who were missionaries in Papua and new Guinea in the time of WW2.
As a child we had guided bible reading every night.
We attended Sunday school and had a graded memory course from 5yrs to 15yrs the age of confirmation.
Then I became a Catholic to marry my husband and now as a widow still live in my husband's land which is now my land, Mexico!
Your Bible in a yr has opened my mind and my eyes so much!
Just 4 days behind!
Always listen to the bible reading while doing something else however ALWAYS write down the notes for each day. Now on the second notebook.
Totally inspiring and I am totally determined to finish in time to do the catechism.
Maybe then I will listen to the bible in a yr in Spanish.
It was too much to do both on the same day.
You have taught me so much and given me so much to talk about!
An interesting subject has been that my husband, may he rest in peace, is the only man that I have known biblically speaking. This has many amazed! It's what God commands us to do!

I started late. I am on day 107. But better late than never. I have read the Bible several times but so much just flew over my head. It's nice to have someone explain things. When you get knowledged in the it's so much easier to understand. It's nice seeing how things mentioned in the Old Testament are being fulfilled in the New Testament. It's nice seeing how what happens in the Bible are the same things happening to us today.
