This is so true. I help many younger IT guys in the industry, and I always give them this advice “in this industry, you got to have the LeBron James syndrome, “which means if stuff doesn’t work out right, you have all the power to leave and join another team. It always works for me because I always take the same advice that I give to people.

It's not worth it any more 😕
No wonder people are quiet quitting, they will leave as soon as they get a better opportunity.

I have been in the industry from 2015 to current. I got say quiet quitting has helped me by far than going with the loyalty program at my first company. I worked with over 70 different companies since then, started as a tech disposal, help desk technician, support engineer, application support, finally in software engineering and architecture. I went from 8.50 to over 100 an hour on various projects.

To say, I grew up in a savage culture, people are naturally all about themselves. Plain as simple, I learnt this the hard way, where people give you the pat on the back to make you feel good and to use your skill set to take credit. Growing up with a rough background. That loyal crap and the person saying they looking out for your best interest is a lie. Why quiet quitting gets you from point a to point b.

There are two philosophies I believe in:
"There is a question all man should be heavily invested in, that question is what is in it for me? The more the man invest in that question their power, wealth, and growth comes to play"

"Be the autodidact but true nature. Never wait to be taught teach yourself. My first manager said, never be taught learn to steal knowledge." You probably have done this statement where you stand over others shoulders and learn why they act or observe from a far.

"I supply a demand" plain and simple you notice where there interest are take advantage and fill that demand!
