In this funny video I share with you the things that surprised me the most when I first moved into the UK. I've been living in London for 1 and a half years and I love it here but there are some very weird things that British people do.
As usual I share with you my personal experience as an expat living in the UK and present to you my view with a great dose of humor and sarcasm.

I’m from the UK and most of these are completely true 😂 Never seen a list so accurate, understanding the nuances of our culture so much! Starting your sentence with “sorry” killed me 🤣 Also the morning talking on public transport one 😂 There’s a non-British lady on my bus route who video calls her family everyday, talking loudly and it drives me NUTS. For the taps - they are separate in older buildings/bathrooms because of how the plumbing worked decades ago (although I don’t remember why). All British people I know hate them too 😂

Always found the Hot and Cold tap annoying and I am from the UK. Sometimes the water is so hot it nearly burns your hands. I think they are designed with plug in mind but usually there is no plug.

I watched this with the Mrs, we recognise all this behaviour, both being Brits. I found the bit about "you allright" especially funny, it's so true! It's very uncomfortable to get a proper answer to this. I lived in Stockholm for a few years (you think Brits are weird ...) and after I returned I agree with you & them that 2 taps is odd. It took me ages to get used to that again but thankfully it's getting rarer, in newer houses anyway. Incidently, and very weirdly, the houses here are so cold compared to there!
